“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” Luke 2:19 KJV
Have you ever thought about Mary at this time of the year? She is much more than just Jesus’s mother. God chose her to be the one to give birth to our Savior of this world, Jesus. She found favor with God. Can you imagine went from hearing from the angel that “she will be conceive and bring forth a son” to riding on a donkey almost full term traveling around 68 miles to Bethlehem giving birth in a stable ? The night after birth of Jesus , our savior of this world, the shepherds came and told Mary that the angels came and announced the birth of our Immanuel! (Luke 2:8-19) Can you imagine hearing the excitement from those shepherds? Did you know what Mary did? She was thinking of all the event that was happening from the moment an angel appeared to her to hearing from the excitement from the shepherds that they met the angels and she cherished each and every one of those moments and pondered them in her hearts!
