Don’t you just love it when our heavenly Father paints the sky? Every Wednesday night after church as I head home, the sun is getting ready to settle down for the evening, as that happens the sky turns into this beautiful golden color with purple glaze over it. I’m in awe every time. I cannot help but think about what God said in Genesis when he created the Earth. Each time when God created something such as light, land, sea or even the first human, Adam, he saw that it was very good. (Genesis 1:31). It made me think and wondered if God thought of me today and said it was good? Am I?
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart..” Jeremiah 1:5 NIV
“and even the very hairs of your head are numbered.” Matthew 10:30 NIV
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:14 NIV
He knew us before we even knew ourselves . Yes, We ARE good in his eyes. We ARE worthy of his love. We ARE fearfully and wonderfully made! Yes , we are sinners and he knows that. In John 3:16, is his proof of his love for us. He’s giving us a chance for eternal life with him. Is there not a greater love than this? Our Heavenly Father loves us this much!
“For God so (LOVED THE WORLD, meaning you and me) that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Yes , indeed God saw us and said it was very good.
